A new axel is one of the first big milestones for a figure skater and can be one of the hardest to achieve. In this class, Jump Specialist Eddie Shipstad will analyze axel technique as well as the single jump skills needed to transition to doubles. SKATERS AND COACHES WELCOME. $25

About the Event

Road to Gold’s mission is to empower athletes and coaches, like you, to believe in themselves within the scope of the sport and beyond by providing unique opportunities for education, communication and collaboration.

In this class, Eddie Shipstad, (National, International, and World PSA Master Rated Jump Specialist), will analyze jump techniques for single axel as well as single jumps in preparation for the transition to doubles. This one-hour Zoom class will take place Sunday, July 17th at 6 pm Central. Skaters are coaches are welcome. The class is $25. Zoom link will be sent on Saturday July 16th. One participant per registraiton please. Do not share the link you receive.

Eddie specializes in the portable jumping harness and has worked with skaters from 13 countries including multiple US National Champions, Olympians and World competitors such as World Champion Patrick Chan, Olympic Medalist Mirai Nagasu and World Bronze Medalist Alysa Lui
