Leadership with a Shared Vision

At Road to Gold Gives Back, our mission is to break down financial and barriers in figure skating providing grants, mentorship, resources, and access to world-class coaching.

Our Board of Advisors brings together Olympians, elite coaches, skating professionals, and community leaders. Acting as strategic counselors and advocates, this team ensures our programs create meaningful, lasting impact for the next generation of athletes.

Gracie Gold

Athlete Advisor & Mental Health Advocate

Gracie Gold is a two-time U.S. National Champion, Olympic bronze medalist, and passionate advocate for athlete well-being. Renowned for her powerful athleticism, technical excellence, and historic performances on the world stage, Gracie represented Team USA at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games, where she earned a team bronze medal and placed fourth individually.

Beyond her competitive achievements, Gracie is a leading national voice for athlete mental health, body positivity, and cultural change in elite athletics. Gracie brings firsthand experience from the highest levels of competitive sport. Passionate about athlete wellness, transparent dialogue around mental health, and mentorship, she helps guide the foundation's educational and outreach initiatives.

Geoffry Varner

Athlete Advisor 

Geoffry Varner is a former Team USA international competitor, national medalist, and elite figure skating coach. On the competitive circuit, he captured the bronze medal at the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final, earned a top-ten finish at the World Junior Figure Skating Championships, and represented the United States across multiple senior ISU Grand Prix assignments.
 

Transitioning his technical expertise into coaching, Geoffry serves as an elite senior coach and a lead clinician for Road to Gold training camps. Known for his specialized approach to jump technique, skater development, and biomechanics, he brings extensive on-ice experience to the Board of Advisors. In this role, he advises Road to Gold Gives Back on grassroots clinic curriculum, coaching education, and grant programs aimed at making high-performance training accessible to emerging athletes.

Jeremy Abbott

Athlete Advisor 

Jeremy Abbott is an Olympic bronze medalist, four-time U.S. National Champion, and one of the most expressive artists in modern American figure skating. A two-time Olympian (2010, 2014) and the 2008 ISU Grand Prix Final Champion, Jeremy achieved historic success representing Team USA on the world stage five times and is celebrated for his exceptional musicality, edge quality, and technical mastery.
 

Following his competitive career, Jeremy has continued to impact figure skating as an elite coach, innovative choreographer, and dedicated clinician with Road to Gold. Having navigated both the heights of national dominance and the intense pressures of elite competition, he brings invaluable insight to Road to Gold Gives Back. Jeremy advises the foundation on athlete mentorship, holistic skater development, and creative curriculum design, championing accessible education and supportive environments for the next generation of competitors.

Logan Giulietti-Schmitt

Athlete Advisor 

Logan Giulietti-Schmitt is an international ice dance medalist, U.S. national pewter medalist, and elite skating coach. Representing Team USA on the international stage alongside partner Lynn Kriengkrairut, Logan earned two consecutive gold medals at the Ice Challenge and achieved strong top-six placements on the senior ISU Grand Prix circuit, including Skate America and the NHK Trophy.
 

Following his competitive career, Logan transitioned his expertise into coaching and choreography, working with high-performance singles and ice dance athletes. As a clinician with Road to Gold, he specializes in deep edge quality, power skating, and partnering fundamentals. On the Board of Advisors for Road to Gold Gives Back, Logan provides guidance on curriculum design, fundamental skating skills development, and expanding accessible technical training for emerging athletes.
