The Road to Gold is returning to St Joseph MO and this time its all about creating a well rounded training program. Join Gracie, Geoff and Sports Physiologist Peter Zapalo for this amazing opportunity. Our host, Bode Ice Arena in St Joseph is 30 minutes North of Kansas City International Airport.

About the Event

We are returning to Missouri for a summer Road to Gold in St Joseph, August 7-8, 2021. Gracie and Geoff will be joined by very special guest, Sports Physiologist Peter Zapalo, founder of Skate Science, skatescience.com and an expert in athlete health, safety and performance, competitive season planning, strength and conditioning. Peter assists elite athletes in the United States and internationally in planning and reaching their potential.

On Saturday we will also host "Understanding Blades" with Kate McCarter, Director of Figure Skating Sales with Arrow Sports Group.

For this seminar, athletes who are currently working on Single Axel through Triple Jumps will have classes on Saturday the 7th. Skaters who are working on Waltz jump through Single Lutz will have classes on Sunday August 8th. Peter Zapalo will join us on Saturday only.

St Joseph is approximately 30 miles North of Kansas City.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE JULY 16. A LATE FEE WILL BE APPLIED AFTER THAT DATE FOR ANY REMAINING SPOTS.

Includes Off Ice Sessions with Peter Zapalo and your choice of two 40 minute on ice classes with Gracie Gold &/or Geoffry Varner. Off Ice with Peter 9:30-10:45am On Ice Class choices are: 11:00am-11:40am Double Axel with Gracie (must be currently working on 2A) or Intro to Leveled Step Sequences with Geoff and 11:40-12:15am Double Lutz and Double Flip with Gracie or Triple Jumps with Geoff

Skaters who are competing at Pre Prelim Well balanced or Excel Prelim Plus thru Pre Juvenile Well balanced or Excel Intermediate Levels.
