Frequently Asked Questions
Will classes be sold individually?
Yes. Skaters will choose the classes they take, allowing each athlete the opportunity to create the perfect camp schedule
What does the typical day look like?
Youth classes will be held on Friday and Saturday. Adult camp classes are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. We hope you'll plan to join us on Friday evening for a Meet and Greet with the team - the prefect opportunity to get to know our coaches, take some photos and get autographs. Friday and Saturday classes are tentativly scheduled for 9:00am-4:00pm and Sunday 9:00am-2:00pm
Will private lessons be available?
Yes. Peaks Ice Arena will provide freestyle sessions so skaters can work one on one with members of our coaching team. Those times will fall either before or after the class day. Exact times will be available as we get closer to the start of camp. Skaters will be offered the opportunity to sign up for ONE private lesson. This opportunity is given to skaters in the order in which class registrations are received. After everyone has the opportunity to schedule ONE lesson, if there are remaining open times, these will be made available to skaters to book additional lesson time
Will the Adult and Youth camps be held separately?
Yes! Peaks Ice Arena is a 2 surface facility so each camp will be held on it's own surface.
How can I make sure I receive information about the camp?
Make sure you are a member of our webiste and follow our Instagram (Road2gold) and Facebook (Road to Gold Traning Camp) accounts. After you register for the Destination Utah classes, you will be sent an invitation to join the event chat page. This page is the perfect place to ask questions, meet other skaters atteding and get up to date camp information
