Grant Availability

Road to Gold Gives Back, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to removing financial obstacles that hinder the involvement of clubs and athletes in figure skating. Our overarching mission is to promote inclusivity and enhance accessibility within the sport through the provision of crucial financial support.

Road to Gold Gives Back (R2GGB) allocates funds to the R2GGB Grant Program, dedicated to offering essential financial assistance for the training requirements of figure skaters aged 18 and below. Priority is given to grants benefiting individuals or figure skating clubs in underserved communities. Allocations are not determined by skill level or competitive background.

The grants provide youth athletes (those under 18 years of age) with stipends that may be used for a variety of training needs.

Grants will range from $100.00 - $500.00 USD. Skaters may apply to use the money for any training opportunities, competition expenses or equipment needs that will benefit the athletes development in the sport of figure skating.

Grant Eligibility

In order to qualify for a grant, a figure skater must:

  • Showcase financial need in the application

  • Obtain a letter(s) of recommendation from a coach, skating official, club board member or facility management who is familiar with the family. Letters should be included with the application.
